[SBS 2008] On Air / 온에어 [ Engsub 21 End]

I sympathized with Manager Jang and his quiet crush on scriptwriter Suh.  Although he has been in love with scriptwriter Suh during all these years, but having set the tone of their relationship as "comfortable comrade and confidant" it would be really hard to change this special relationship into something more romantic! (The practicality of a female's mind, probably would be against this idea of conversion 110%!  Let's alone a spunky lady like scriptwriter Suh.)  I don't think Manager Jang is being too timid, he is just respecting her wishes, and probably does not want to lose her friendship either, so he settles for being her confidant and good friend!  Which is not his ideal situation by any standard of measurement, but it is better than nothing, I supposed.

On the other hand, the relationship between PD Lee and scriptwriter Suh is pretty exciting!  It is heating up quite nicely!  Especially, on top of their natural attraction to each other (hhehhe, literally too!), there's one arrogant and beautiful diva stepping forward into the ring, as a worthy rival for the PD's attention!

The object of the PD's affection, she makes him laugh with all her antics!


How scriptwriter Suh could make PD Lee becomes speechless, so easy! ^^

Who is this crying babe you guys kept mentioning?  I don't see anyone around here with the nick my cry babe!  Fallendevil, are you okay?  Why are you talking to my cry babe like she's your imaginary friend? hahahhaha, you too heoconphaphach!  I won't be betting, because I know the PD will get scriptwriter Suh in the end!  He is infinitely more fun to be around and that's why scriptwriter Suh will chooses him over Manager Jang!  Although, Manager Jang would be fantastic, dependable husband's material!

I totally agree with heoconphaphach that Miss Oh has special feeling for Manager Jang all these years.  Women, as a rule, don't cherish things that have no sentimental value in their mind!  Just the fact that Miss Oh kept the umbrella intact all these years is a big admission of love on her part.  Maybe she doesn't realizes this yet herself, hence the temporary pull of attraction by PD Lee (you have to admit:  He is super cute!) In the end, I think she will be in love with Manager Jang.  Who else?!

just finished ep 7. This drama is more interesting in every episode. The wise solution of JKJ makes me so surprised. It proves that there's nothing with no solve. Can't believe the writer can think such that. Wow! I start liking her now.

"ON AIR" has been making wave on the ratings chart every week.  It is easy to understand why it is so much fun to  watch this drama.  The characters are eccentric, the bantering are quick and sharp, and the relationship of the main cast are fascinating from every which way we care to examine it.  The drama's subject itself is a wonderful topic for us to watch with interest, because for the past 5 years many of us have been fairly fascinated with the Korean entertainment industry.  All the behind the scenes friction between the cast of characters in the entertainment world, as well as the sparks of romance in "ON AIR" are enough to make us feel giddy with excitements and anticipations while waiting for the next episode.  Let's take a look at a few of the reasons why "ON AIR" has captured our imagination, shall we ?

It has fashions and styles!  Represented on a small scale by the 2 leading ladies


It has famous guests as cameo!  
Especially, when one of the buff guest proposed to his girlfriend while appearing in "ON AIR"


It has promises of romantic involvements to keep us guessing!
Is there anything between the devine Miss Oh and handsome PD Lee?




Or is it more like:  Would Manager Jang will finally gather up enough courage to profess his love to Ms. Suh ?




What about the magical sparks between PD Lee and scriptwriter Suh ?


Or could it be Miss Oh is mightily annoyed at this seemingly happy companionship?

I agree with latuongtu about the interest of On Air ^^ As viewer, everyone wants to know the couple of lover but they cannot figure out from this drama. This contributes to the popularity of On Air. I really enjoy it because I can understand and get a deeper look into Korean showbiz in particular.

Well I did try to type but the font ^^ makes me feel uneasy sometimes. I am happy to see this thread grow fast from beginning and hope there will be more visitors pass by and join the discussion.
