[SBS 2008] On Air / 온에어 [ Engsub 21 End]

I remember the time when there wasn't english sub at all for some dramas,
it was really really frustrating then.
Now english language viewers have the chance to enjoy k-drama frequently and for free, they have to be grateful, don't you think?
Mistakes are almost inevitable, even a native speaker can make errors.
Don't make it too hard for CICLID subbing team, just give them time to develop and to improve.
I believe they certainly have the capacity to become an excellent subbing team, and that will happen faster than you can imagine.

I'm sorry, but this cm is very discouraging and it seems a litte bit exagerated too. I do believe that some people are disappointed with the subs, but giving up watching for that reason?? It sounds unrealistic too me. If you really truely enjoy a drama, you will keep watching it, even with bad subs. I already have experienced this several times in the past, with I'm Sorry I Love You and My Name is Kim Sam Soon. There were many missing parts and the Timing was terrible. But I still watched it till the end and rewatched it many times.
Conclusion: your friends stopped watching On Air probably because they simply don't like the drama and not because of the subs's quality.

First of all, I'd like to thank you all for your concern as well as your constructive, friendly suggestions. Constructive suggestions are always welcome and much appreciated, but criticisms are totally not. Please keep it in mind,  it only takes you guys one hour plus to watch one episode, but it takes subbers more than 20 times longer to finish one episode. Have you guys ever thought where the subbers get that time from? Because of their passion as well as their goal of bringing subs to the non-Korean speaking drama watchers to let them enjoy the dramas to the fullest, the subbers've donated their precious time on the subbing. Having said that, with all efforts and the energy the subbers have given out, are the subbers worth of criticisms as well as discouraging comments, even though they've made some mistakes?

Sorry to say it straight, but if you guys are disappointed in the sub lines, then don't watch them because it will irritate you guys and irritate the subbers when you guys leave those hurtful comments.

About how long and how quick the subs appear on screen are not something under the subbers' control. Have you guys ever noticed how quick the characters talk to each other? They almost yell and mock at each other all the time. Yes, the subbers can trim the sub lines, and consequently the content will be cut out as well.

hello, KST...I've been a follower of on air and iljimae thanks to the subs that you have provided. I for one think that you are doing a great job with the subbing...there were minor errors but i could understand just fine. I hope you do not get discouraged by the negative comments made. Please take your time in subbing these drama and don't feel unnecessarily pressured, after all you guys are doing it at your own time free of charge! KST fighting!!!!!

Congratulations on completing your first English Sub Project.   On the first page of this thread, there were no ratings for the last 5 or 6 episodes, esp from ep 16 through 21?  I wonder what those ratings were. Probably in the 20% ratings would be my guess.

This drama has very high expectation and in this forum there are many comment about it.

I don't know why the rating is not good at all? Should I watch this drama?

I liked this drama especially the main actress.  She played in Winter Sonota.   I just don't like the ending.  It's strange.

Thank so much for completing this korean drama project , I totally enjoyed watching On Air, it was so touching and I almost cried!
