Drama Iljimae’s ratings passed 20% on episode 7

SBS’ historical drama Iljimae has obtained highest ratings since the first broadcast and reached the important 20% status.

According to TNS’ stats, episode seven’s rating on the night of June 11th was 20.5%, while AGB’s was also 20%. This is the first time that both records of TNS and AGB increase clearly.

In the seventh episode, the main character Young-ee, after witnessing the death of his sister, decided to take revenge. In order to seek for the fugitives, Young-ee had come to the path of becoming Iljimae.

Due to Iljimae’s wide popularity, both other two shows that are on the same broadcasting time catch sight of decreasing number of viewership, particularly, Spotlight only gets a hold of 9.6% (TNS) and 10.1% (AGB), and Women in the Sun attains 9.3% (TNS) and 10.5% (AGB).

Episode 7 was awesome,
I could barely sit on my chair while watching,
no wonder the rating went up!

the scene with his sister in jail was sooooo touching,
but the sadest moment was her execution......, I cried like a baby TT.TT

this episode is the most touching of the drama so far
i cannot hold my tears while watching it

I usually do not watch historical drama but this one with Lee Yun Ki is one of the best dramas of 2008. The story is so touching. I love Iljimae and his adopted father as well. The music is superb...Do you know where I can down load OTS. Thanks for your info
