The production company of drama Spotlight decided to change its scriptwriter in the second half of the drama.
The first 8 episodes were written by scriptwriter Lee Ki Won. After episode 9, the script will be written by another scriptwriter.
Scriptwriter Lee Ki Won has succeeded with the drama White Tower in 2007. He said that when accepting this drama, he felt that he had taken the job at a high risk. The reason that he wants to change the scriptwriter is because of his heavy script writing schedule every month. Plus, the conflict between the main characters aren't able to be resolved.
Two scriptwriters Hwang Soo Ha, Choi Yoon Jin will be responsible for writing the script from episode 9.
